You ask them man himself if his bait works? LOL. But yeah it works. If you got channels biting, CJs will definately catch them.

On my way to get some right now. I'll be hitting Texoma later this week and hope to catch a few channels alongside that State record Blue. CJ's always worked well for me on Lewisville, but haven't tried it at Texoma yet. I'll let you know how it goes.

Is that you CJ-Charles Jones? If so, I have been watching your You Tube videos of your family sitting on the rocks catching them and that is what sold me so I buy this for now on. The crawfish one works like a charm and works great in the sun too.
If this is not you, then my bad, but buy this guys, it does work. I'm stopping on Friday to get some more. I wish I could find the gallons in the Houston area.

CJ'S is just as good as the over hyped stuff The monster mix is a channel cat getter for sure, as with most any prepared bait if the fish are there they will hit it. There is no secret to fishing baited holes on video to sell product for the ......

I don't fish punch bait of any kind, so I have no dog in the hunt. My friend Weldon Kirk fishtales uses CJ's and is moderately successful to the tune of about 8,000+ fish a year. I guess all you punch bait critiques do as well.

I have caught lots of blues on CJ's/ One day we had 48 blues, the youth record on Lake Somerville, 56# blue, was caught using CJ's. In the last year I have caught 29#, 33#, 36, 20#, and several other good blues on Lake Somerville using CJ's.
Great price at Academy it sounds like.

My own experience with CJ's is that I tried the pint sized jars from Academy many times, like 20 times, and found in every case that the bait was too dry and I couldn't get it to stay on the hook even a #6 treble no matter what I did, add oil add water, nothing worked. Because Weldon Kirk recommends it so highly and is so successful with it I finally tried the one gallon size of CJ's. The experience was totally different. The bait stays on very well, better than Sure Shot. It is much moister than in the pint jars and is easy to push your hook down into. You wouldn't even recognize it as the same product. We've caught plenty of catfish on it too. I'm sold on CJ's but only in the gallon size. I have a theory, pure speculation, that it sits on the shelf too long in those pint sized jars and dries out. The gallon size is in an impermeable plastic jug with an airtight seal and even after several months of heavy use is still moist and entirely satisfactory. My 2 cents.

Maybe, faced with the prospect of selling more pint jars,(or less)CJ would tell us what "secret ingredient" could be added to it to make it bind together better. It had to have something in it initially. I would probably buy a pint to check it out as opposed to buying a gallon of an "unknown".

They sell a enhancement oil on their website. It will help with those problems. Plus it adds scent to some already strong smelling stuff.
