Anyone else have this happen to them? I've got one that does it nearly every cast. Ill turn them off and three of them turn on when casting.

Still have the box? They send extras, for that reason I assume. I've never heard of them wearing out though.

Which model Revo? It is not one of the "pitch brake" models is it?

I think you'll have better luck getting answers in another forum besides the for sale section.

Yes, I posted a thread about it too. I have a gen 3 winch and it does it every single cast. Bout to switch to Lews. I have always been an Abu guy, but lately I have seen the light.

YES!!! I thought I was the only one. I "think" I have found the solution. No lube in the brake area. I lube everything else. Since I have had it clean, I have not had them slip. But with any oil or grease, they slip. Usually from one out to two out, but sometimes three like you mention. This is the reason I think I'm going to make my next reel a Lews. Just skittish with the STX now.

The magnetic brake on the 1st gen.revo stx was all anyone needed. It worked great. Then they had to incorporate Plueger breaking into the revo lineup to make it better. Not good.
