Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Did that last year on RH too. The same thing, thought I snagged a branch until that branch started moving away. Hope you had as good a time bringing it up as I did.

Oh yea! Those are cruisers! Fun to catch! I caught the one in my sig on Hubbard too! Can't remember who I was potlicking off of at the time! Actally, I was on Metroplex Guide Service Paul Rogers boat. We both thought I was hung too!....well, you know what I mean! Nice catch! Question is.....is what you caught in the lake bigger than what you caught in the big waters?

YEP!! it sucked big time at Port A. bad winds and 7 ft tide on the beach pretty much shut down the surf fishing. we caught some Spanish macks, mangrove snapper, and a few specs and sand trout at Packery Channel and off the pier at the ferry crossing park.
I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning !!!

Some call them pretty and some call them ugly. I think they are pretty ugly? LOL
Question. I dont know flat heads. But how come VIP's flat head and Snakebit's fish look so much different? Snakebit's fish is much older with more freckles? Or there are several species of flats?? Thanks in advance!
