Anybody know what happen yesterday evening at the ramp.. Went by and there were 2 patrol cars and 2 ambulance there and they was all one the ramp...just wondering if anybody had heard anything

It was probably 2 of the 723 "guides" fighting over a wealthy Dallasite that's booking days so he can finish his 10 year cycle of mastering bass fishing .......

My dad (68 years old) had backed a Jet Ski trailer into the water to load two jet skis that my sister and brother-in-law had driven around from the house since the water is getting so low. One Jet Ski was on the trailer and my dad was cranking the winch when a man and his grandson next to him pulled a pontoon boat out of the water. When the other mans tow vehicle topped the ramp the boat trailer came loose from the vehicle and shot down the ramp as there were no safety chains attached. The boat trailer hit my dads pickup and then hit my dad since the winch on the Jet Ski trailer is offset to accommodate two Skis. This all happened extremely fast with no warning so I dont know exactly what part of the boat and trailer struck my dad but he ended up in the edge of the water with a number of injuries. He is in ICU at Tyler with a large number of fractured ribs, a broken collar bone, 3 fractured vertebras in his lower back, a punctured lung, a large puncture wound on his right thigh where something from one of the boat trailers went into his leg and countless other scrapes and bruises.
This was an accident that we could have never planned for and we thank God that his life was spared as the outcome could have been very different. We are also thankful that his 6-year old granddaughter and son-in-law who were sitting on the Jet Ski were unharmed. We ask that you keep our family and the family that lost the pontoon boat in your thoughts and prayers.
