Seems like I have been seeing a lot of Raptors on the road lately. I would love to have that engine with the exception of MPGs. I think you could do better on the suspension with aftermarket. Another plus is they come with decent tires unlike other 4x4s. I wonder what real world MPGs are?.

I know the Border Patrol uses them allot. And they dog the piss out of them. My uncle use to haul them to to the Border Patrol shop straight out of the rail yard.

One of the Project Managers here bought one and I asked him what kind of fuel mileage he got from it and he said better than the Toyota Tundra he traded in for it but his quote "That wasn't what I bought it for". But please for Jesus sake don't even think about it I don't think I could take it.

Hey Fordnut, no need to get too worried I just bought a 2013 Tacoma. Resale on my 2009 made it too good to pass up. Raptor was tempting put price and MPGs held me back. I needed something to handle the ranch roads so I bought a Tacoma Baja. Until I decide to upgrade the boat the Tacoma best suits my needs. Almost bought a Chevy but man these Tacoma's hold their value.

I know a guy with one and if I remember correctly it was around 10-12 ish. But I'm sure he drove like a freak.

This is the first year raptor with the 5.4. Great truck and has been beaten up over the years. Runs like a champ.

I did some work for a guy who has a Raptor with the 6.2 he said he was getting 8-10 Mpg. Mostly stop and go, and he did happen to be a dirt track guy on the weekends.

That being said, the Raptor is one mean looking truck.

Wish I had a raptor! That's a Sweet truck! My 05' F-150 Lariat 5.4L V8 does the job for me.

Thats what im buying next.
