Cabela's in Allen, Bass Pro on the east side of Dallas, and Tailwaters in Dallas also have tying materials. But it sounds like you've already been to most of main shops in the DFW area. Are you looking for something specific that you didn't find at one of those shops? Some materials can be difficult to find locally.
How far do you consider a "bit"? Living Waters in Round Rock had a good selection of materials that I use a lot of. And if you really want to have fun looking at materials, West Yellowstone, Mt had a fly shop on almost every corner last time I was up there...

Tailwaters is an awesome shop, but has a very limited tying supplies section. You should definitely stop by there though to check out all their other gear.
Barlows is great. They also have stuff that isn't out on display. If there is something you are looking for, ask one of the guys or check in their catalog. They have all sorts of goodies in the back.
Let us hope that the bass do not find the equivalent of the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

Where are some places to get material - From a pet's brush
- The lint filter of a clothes dryer
- The insides of cushions and pillows
- Skins, pelts (feathers and fur) from game animals
- Carpet and rugs (synthetic fibers)

if you go to Austin take the extra 20 min to go to Living Waters in Round Rock. They have tons of material and are right next to round rock donuts!

You could collect all the fresh roadkill squirrel tails you want while going for a walk about dawn in Plano.

In Barlow's yesterday for some tying materials for an upcoming Alaska salmon trip. They had a lot of stuff I'd been needing and could not find elsewhere, so I walked out $50 poorer with a bag of pink.

Thanks for reminding us (me) of Barlow's Mick. Ever since they've dropped their Saturday hours I simply haven't made it down that way so much.

Grey Wolf Fly Shop in Shreveport, LA is stocked very well with fly tying materials. Bass Pro Shops on the boardwalk is also a good place to buy fly tying stuff.

Along the side of the road, especially in rural areas.
For all you post-Baby Boomer fly tiers, that used to be the way MOST folks got their fly tying materials. They're not proud of it, but most old-timers can tell you personal stories about swerving to hit a chicken on the edge of the road just to get some dry fly hackle. LOL
