Best money I've spent for minnows

Frabill Min-O2-Life 4.25-Gallon Aerated Bucket

Rarely lose a single minnow fishing in this heat

Only sure way to keep em alive in this heat is to leave em in the minna tank st the bait house, and fish every jig I own instead. They dont die nearly as quick

I Just keep em in a cooler with an aerorator, add frozen bottles filled with lake water every now and then. Should work fine.

I used to use an aerator and 5 gallon bucket but switched to this after fishing with Alabama Jack.

Thank you Ronnie!

+1, exactly what I use. Add some ice to water & minners stay frisky all day. I usually put a half pound in the cooler but it will hold more. Cap full of peroxide will really ramp them minners up.

I mounted a live well recirculating pump in a 11 gallon ice chest and put 12v cig plug on it, but only get minnows when nephew or dad go. I jig 95% of the time.

If you are using a small typical minnow bucket, and cant afford a cooler or a bigger cooler would pick up too much room, freeze some old 16oz bottle of water. Drop one in there (don't just add ice which will melt with chrorine). You should be fine.

If minnows is the ticket more power to you. Jigs is alot less work, but you must work the jigs. The irony though is that we have seen jokes are made to ones who uses minnows. I would never make fun of minnows fishermen. After all, minnows are widely used and encouraged/acceptable for most tournaments.
