Went to Naconiche this morning (well it was morning for her). Got there about 9 o' clock. Fished around some brush in 20 FOW and caught a few and made a move to a new spot I had never fished. On the first drop down she got this 14" slab! Fishing only 12 foot down with Slab Bandits and crappie nibbles.  Here's one of mine. Prettiest fish I've ever seen this time of year.

Nice job Jacob and better 1/2. That is one pretty crappie. Look almost like a dark spawning male during the spring

Nice dark green color on those. Lake is healthy. I bet they really get black this spring when they spawn. Good looking fish Mrs. Jacob.... oh and you too Jacob.

Ya I'd like to see those fish in April. U Maybe in too deep now man, get her hooked and you'll never be able to get away..lol.
I really wana go fish that lake.. may have to do it when it cools a bit.

These fish are only 3 years old. Amazing growth rate. The record bass in there was tagged. It grew 9 lbs in 3 years.

I caught a few there Friday and just like yours they were really dark. The little bass gave me fits with those nibbles.?? Could not get a bite until I switched to 1/16 jig head.
