Broke line fishing in some trees.....for a second was going to jump in and grab the line floating....not so much to get the fish but my LC BDS1 crank! Didn't know what i had in my pockets and have never had to climb back into the boat....what would you have done?

I guess depending on how well you can swim, how easily you can get back in the boat, weather/water conditions, the toothy critters that have been watching your every move since you dropped your trolling motor and if your alone or not and is there somebody there who can help you if you get in trouble I think you'd need to ask yourself "how bad do I really want that bait back". If a 15 dollar bait is going to potentially put you in a situation you may wind up regretting the rest of your life I'd say either stay home and watch the FLW or consider the loss another donation to the almighty fish gods.

If the line broke up near the boat, put the trolling motor to use and get closer. Pick up another rod with a heavy bait and try to snag the line.

I guess the tackle monkey hasent been to see you yet. Should have at least 3 more you can find and at least two that are hiding in that box somewhere.

I would have yelled "merica" as I plugged my nose and belly flopped on the line as I grabbed it with my free hand. All while being filmed with the GoPro.
