I thought I wanted to be a cool guy yaker so I started playing with my old one, then I bought a nicer "rookie" yak and enjoyed it so much I thought I'd step up and get me a real live "cool guy" yak. Sold my rookie yak and was in the perfect position to step up and finally get me a cool guy yak.

......and what did I do??????????

Instead I went out and got me one of those dang things that I read is "nothing but a darned ole canoe with a skirt on!"

So I guess I blew my chance and I'm still just a wannabe.
Oh well!
Anyway, I am digging this thing and pretty pumped about having it in the garage. This thing has me written all over it!

There's nothing I see that's a wanna be to that setup.. I like the way it looks, It has cool looking all over it.

I was the king of flipping bass boats so I was a skilled, trained professional flipper before I ever made it to yaks!
We'll see!

The Buc-ees bandana on the back for transport has been my total contribution to the rigging so far.

Very nice pop. That sucker is nice, rigged and ready to go! Will be perfect down there on the Guad. I will be curious to know how you think of the paddle vs the rookie yak.

I think you did good. I have been shopping for a more suitable kayak and I can see where one of those could work well for a fishing set up. kind of a blank page to configure like you want.
