Does anyone know how late you can fish at the parks around waxahachie lake?

I`m not really sure but I think there is a curfew on bank fishing.I was there late one evening fishing when the locals ran a group of youngsters off.They were being very young if you know what I mean & next thing I knew police show up and they leave. I didn`t ask any ?????. I found out later that you could fish out of a boat all night long.
