 Pizza recommendations for Dallas area

My kids want to take me out for good pizza next week for my birthday preferably in or around Dallas. Am familiar with Campisis on Mockingbird but hoped someone had others to steer us toward. They must serve beer or nobody will be happy. Doesn't have to be cheap - they are paying!

This is the best pizza I have had in Dallas. It is as close to a real Italian style pizza that I have found. This guy does it like they do in old Italy. http://ilcanerosso.com/

Louie's.. off Henderson http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RezGl2EGJgif you're going with more than 6, then try another place. It's a bar and they don't cater to large crowds. It's probably the best thin crust pie in DFW. Expensive, but great!

There is a Mellow Mushroom in Arlington that is good. Not sure of other locations.

are all good pizza joints in the area,some better then others at certain offerings but its the brick ovens that set them apart from the Papa John/Domino garbage.
Some may or may not be open still as I dont get around out there like I used to,worth the look if its better pizza your after

I love Mellow Mushroom - they have one in Arlington & one in Frisco and both have around 30 different kinds of draft beer.

This isn't a sit down place like the ones listed but Zuko's in Rowlett is where we order out.
Best pizza I have ever had at a sit down restaurant in Dallas was at Gordo's. This was a long time ago before they moved to Highland Park.

Back in the 80's it was Grecos pizza at Abrams and Royal......best I've ever had.
