Yeah, I don't think anyone on here is asking you to give up a honey hole....just a spot to launch the yak. I've looked all over google maps, and just because you can find a parking lot near the water does not mean you can launch from it. Besides..I thought that was the point of TFF. hmmm

Rat trap:

I'll hit those spots with ya. I've been wanting to hit the trinity for a while now. I know there are a lot of other guys looking for entry spots too. Maybe we can set up an open invite for Saturday morning.

I agree with you Nathan lol- the good spots get ruined by fishing pressure, and the places we are catching 4-5 pounders and a 6 every once in awhile are showing sigh s of fishing pressure. It makes it hard to gv people your honey holes even though us kayak fisherman stick together lol. Besides next year we will be fishing tourneys again and I need my 5 pounders to beat you! Oh and for the bassmaster poster we give most of the time a spot for a spot- you share yours we will share ours.

Google maps is your friend.

Belknap and Oakhurst Scenic DR. If you walk towards the 121 bridge, there is a nice ramp.
Also on Old University DR behind the Fairfield inn, there is some flat ground to launch.

I've launched at the Panther island pavilion. It's nice.

1st of all welcome
Nathan and Chris showed me all of the spots I know while we were fishing the Bassgrabber Tournament. This is a forum and we do share information but I do agree that it doesn't hurt to go back and read a few posts and learn from them rather than just jump on here and ask. That being said, when you see a group of folks going fishing hook up with them and they'll be glad to show you some spots.

Sweet! I'll start a thread for an open invite. I say we hit the spot with the easiest launch, assuming its got as good of fishing as any of the others.

You can also put in at Taylor and Belknap down the hill.
It is behind the radio shack complex. Look at it on google maps.
You can go 3 different ways from this spot.

I think this is the other side of the river from the spot I mentioned by the Bible Church. After dragging my kayak down that hill, I saw the little parking under the bridge. I wondered how safe it would be to park there next time.

Has anyone put in under East 820 and Randol Mill Rd.?
