Is longhorn still open? Haven't been in a few weeks and was planning on taking the yaks out this evening to catch a few sandies. Anyone know if it's still open?

Anyone who has been recently as this last weekend? Thanks for the info Uglystik. Hopefully its still open. If not it is not a big deal to drive over to baja and launch from there.

I was out Saturday and put in at the marina. It was roughly 2' all the way out to the drop-off. The Longhorn ramp east of the bubblers was really wallered out and I wouldn't take a chance there with a trailer. Threw a net there and could tell there wasn't much ramp in the water. Couldn't tell if there was access down to the water. There were several trailers at Mustang, but none at the Holiday ramps. Didn't go up into Rocky Creek. Some yaks were on the west side humps, and it looked like they put in on the beach.

longhorn ramp is closed. I fished there yesterday, I have a cart so I just rolled my yak down the hill.

Yeah found out it was closed after we drove up to it. We just launched from baja. Caught a bunch of undersized sandbass and yellows in the bubbles. 1 small lmb too.
