Looks like an awesome field to fish against. If I had the time and money if be all over this.
I have a question. Are the teams required to pay for all four events before fishing the first tournament on Rayburn? What if a local team says they're gonna fish them all, but back out after the Rayburn tournament, being that is the only one they wanted to fish. oooooooo sneaky!

www.platinumteamtrail.comFrom their Rules... OFFICIAL REGISTRATION PROCESS: No money should be sent until you have been contacted by PTT officials. Registration for the 2013 2014 season will begin by phone on August 1, 2013, at 9:00 AM. A phone number will be posted on the PTT website, and all calls will be returned in the order in which they were received. All teams registering for all four tournaments will be given first priority until September 1, 2013, at which point teams that are entering less than four tournaments will be contacted again to arrange payment and registration (all teams will be kept on a waiting list, in the order their call was received). Once a team has been contacted from a PTT official and payment/registration has been confirmed, that team will be posted on the PTT website. The initial payment due to secure a spot in all four tournaments will be $1,200 ($250 deposit per tournament and a $100 membership fee per angler). Payment can be made by mail or online from the PTT website before October 1, 2013. The $750 balance for each tournament and the $500 side pot must be paid at least 30 days prior to each tournament. The first Sam Rayburn tournament balance will be due November 7th, 2013.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

So after the Rayburn event, what is keeping guys from dropping out if that was the only one they planned on fishing?

Boys if I had the money and could catch fish I would be all over this like monkey on a junebug!!! But what I really want to know if this guy is one of the select few? Already sounding like only a select handpicked group of anglers will be allowed to fish. Hope that's not the case

If a team called and registered for all four tournaments, and they were/are one of the first 100, then they made it in. I don't know how to be more fair and give everyone an equal shot at getting in. Hopefully that showed with the way we held the registration. I have been at a meeting today and just got home. About to make some calls and update the list. It is very close to being full if not already.

Have to sign up as a team or can I add a partner later? You can add a partner before the first tournament.

So if a team fishes Rayburn then backs out of the next 3 events and loses $750, where does that money go? Is it put into the payout or does it just become profit for PTT? Seeing as there obviously appears to be enough single event people to fill the spots why would it not just go into the payouts?

The money will be paid back into the program (payout, AOYs, or in some other way). It will not become profit for the PTT.

100 teams.
If you want to be first on the waiting list, you can still call and leave a message. Teams wanting to enter all four will have first priority until August 31.
Starting on September 1, we will add the 3's, 2's, and 1's to the waiting list.
Congrats to everyone that entered the tournament!
We are looking forward to this!
