Somehow, it settled or moved or something between Saturday and Sunday. There's just a little sticking out of the water now, it's the one that was beside the buoy marking the bad stuff you don't want to hit, there at the bend in front of cedar springs ramp.

Good story? I made it 3 days without tearing anything up. Took my co angler up above 259 bridge yesterday to get him some keepers, get just to the spot, lined the boat up, gave him my rod and said "throw there". Just before he throws, here comes a flat bottom pro drive with 2 guys having a fun time obviously, the blow right over the spot. I tell my co that we'll let it settle for 10 minutes and try again. About that time here comes 2 more boats over it. That's how the whole weekend went it seems.

Saturday morning, I was boat 3 coming up the lane. Several boats off in the pad field to the left just under 155 bridge (not in the boat lane). I see the guy in front rearing back and throws at me coming through the lane. Poor guy, can't imagine what he was saying after 15 more boats blew through there.

What else.... navigation light problems, a serious fight with a psychotic bee that was he** bent on landing on my ear. Co angler yesterday was 45 minutes late, adding insult to injury a buddy of mine informs me he has a 5 lber in the boat while watching me sitting at the ramp waiting. Pretty sure I was on the fish to win, the bite changes from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning, I struggled bad but stuck with the area. Picked up a different bait yesterday and catch a 3.5 and a 2.5 in 15 minutes, problem is it was the last 15 minutes of the day.

Awesome lake, I wish I lived closer to it.

Dang sure ready for Ft. Gibson, that's going to be a great tourney. Just hope the flying 50 lb spoonbills are done with their acrobatics by October.

Keep the Lord in your heart and keep your powder dry.

I know the pole was there and standing on my way North Sat AM, and way bent over on the way South for weigh in that day. That is some skinny water up there for sure, and them folks that just sit in that little boat lane sure add a lot of hazzard factor. I did not allow for stop time on the way in Saturday, and I am pretty sure there's a few local folks not liking a blue triton afterwards.

I was boat 3 Sunday, and it had to be the same guy at the bridge Robert bang
After Saturday, you would think he knew we were all there......Sorry to hear about your delay. That stinks. I heard you put on a late day clinic while our little buddy observed you whack those two nice ones...

Made my Ft. Gibson reservation this morning. Looking for another opportunty grin

Should be counting your lucky stars....people have died hitting those poles.

from talking to him, he was slowing down as you should to pass a boat coming the opposite way toward him, the boat cut in front of him, and he spun as hard as he could to miss the boat and caught the pole. Damn shame some boaters don't have courtesy and sense enough to drive boats. I know the boater who hit the pole, and he is a courteous cautious guy, and if he hadn't made the swing like he did, it would have been a lot worse for both boats and the occupants of them.
god was looking down at that time for sure, and thankfully no one was injured

Whoever was running North in the river should have shut down and let the southbound boat pass that shallow area, as the river turns out of the boat lane just south of the buoy. The boat run is very shallow and dangerous to shut down at the buoy. Just my .02

Scary spot for sure. Not much room for error. Chunk rock on one side near the island that stretches out. Concrete bridge and poles with a 90 degree turn.
