I had a couple of 'good as they get' hamburgers at the Minnow Bucket, but the reconditioned rooms...are you kidding me??? I mean the rooms are locked by combination locks and the combination is your room number. Everyone knew. It would be insane to leave anything in your room. I take meds that I have to have...and the pillows...they are like $3 at WalMart but these should have been tossed years ago. The rooms could made a 'D' if they'd spend $3 for pillows...and rethink the door locks.

Went to the Minnow Bucket and checked out the rooms decided to go to Oakridge instead..Clerk claimed the rooms were recently remodeled but still looks like 1970's to me. Is the Minnow Bucket owned by foreigners?

I will have to oak ridge had a dang good burger and great onion rings. Tiffany's was good for breakfast. Buddy ordered 3 pancakes and when they came out his jaw dropped. Our first night we stopped at ajs and I was not that impressed with the buffet. Thanks for all the input. Will have more places to try next time we are done.

Coming to Oak Ridge soon after seeing that photo. I haven't had onion rings like that since The College Corner Caf closed in Commerce.....That place was awesome.

Oak Ridge  I saw this post yesterday and I think this is the 4th time I've come back to it just to look at those onion rings. Those look GOOD.

East Fork. The best Mexican food I've ever had in my entire life. I believe it's all you can eat Mexican on Thursdays...?
