I use 20 lb sunline fc sniper fluorocarbon ..... I can't break it without using the TM..... diameter is small compared to most any other line.

Bought a spool of that new Sunline Reaction FC, I'm very impressed. I've never been a fan of 20 lb fluorocarbon due to the memory, but this new Sunline is different, much smoother, seems to be slicker, and so far doesn't have the memory I'm used to seeing in other 20 lb FC lines.

Damn near had a hernia trying to break off 20# Seaguar red label flouro 2 days ago. How the hell a fish breaks that stuff is a mystery to me.

maybe the fish had some scissors tucked away under his fin hammer

At first it was about the fish, now it's about so much more...

I can cast 15lb further than 20lb. It also has less memory.

Makes you wonder how many lake and/or world records you have broken off on LOL! I'm a 12 with all cranking baits and finesse baits, 15 on jigs and t-rigs and then 20 on heavy cover and crig. Rarely fish grass but if I do. . . its braid!

There is a big difference in the way they handle. I like the new 17# Invisx too. It fits nicely in between the 15 and 20.

I think the 20 is very hard to break. Just wish it casted better. Have lost a few fish on 15 but probably my fault for not checking for knicks more often.

20 for flipping heavy cover or jigs. 15 for basic worm fishing. Consider this. Do you won't more bites or hang onto the fewer bites. Smaller dia. not only less visible, but, better action on bates. The new fluorocarbons can handle it.

Clearer water I would probably go with 15lb. But for most of the lakes in this area I throw 20lb on footballs, C-rigs, swimbaits, flipping, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits.
