 Leaking power tilt?

I have a small 25hp tohatsu motor and the power tilt cylinder is leaking and I belive it's a throw a away not a repair type. Has anyone ever used a stop leak product like Lucas power steering or trans. stop leak in the unit?

Depends on where its leaking. If.its leaking from around the seals put a little brake fluid in with your fluid. It will sell the seals back up and buy you some time.
