I know I'm doing it wrong but I'm going to make this last can last a Loooooong time. It's time. I want to quit but I'm going to miss it.

Half a can left. I didn't make it last as long as I intended. This is going to suck.

It's hard. Just resign yourself to the fact that dipping is no longer a part of your life. I'm going on 8 months and I couldn't be happier with my decision and how I've stuck to it. Seriously, either you control you, or it does. Get up and kick that can for the last time. No "last dip".

I'm chewing gum like a mad man right now. Going to be a long weekend.

In April it was a yr for me and I still want a dip at least once a day. It's the hardest thing to do quitting. But it's the best thing you could do I will never dip again. My dad dips still today and I feel bd for him bc of that. It's something that keeps you lock Down you can't go anywhere or do anything without. It's no way to live but until you quit you don't realize how addicted you really were.

Still snuff free today. Feeling kind of low down. I'm not doing anything but sitting around and drinking massive amounts of water. Not really grouchy but am kind of jittery.

Ok. Supper is over. I feel like fighting.

I have tried many times and failed. This section of the forum is even a section I started. I'm ashamed that I got this started and never followed through with it.

It's no easy task, I wouldn't be ashamed. Everybody has their own breaking point to quit.

Hang in there Mud! The further out from the quit day the better it gets.

I went to HEB and bought the Smokey Mountain can works great and over time you don't want it as well. I stopped going on three years and have not looked back good luck you can do it.

Never did the dip - but I smoked for 40+ years and the best I can say is find a substitute and re-train your brain.

Sugar-free cough drops worked for me - just a drop between your cheek and gum - works as long as a dip and a couple Serenity prayers later you're movin' on down the highway. . . . .

Whatever works for you, it'll work for you if you want it to.
