Choke canyon cats

I am new to choke, have landed 11 TINY cats the last few days, any tips for bigger fish or better bait would be cool

I don't know if that little 2 pump gas station is still there that never has gas; they sell Danny Kings Select which I have always used there on a #6 treble. Go from tree to tree and stay deep in the summer heat, then move shallow when the sun falls. The San Miguel creek is money but full of what seem to be world record alligators; a #6 at the bottom of the creek works. You are lucky to be in such nice country, I can't wait to go in a couple of months.

Right on the gators, saw one monday in the lake. Had to be 12 plus. Freaking huge. Thanks for the info.
