About two years ago Kathy of Santone Lures gave Pake some skirt material, some jig heads and some tools to play around with. Some of y’all may remember the story about the “Funes” jig. http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/6636426/1
You have to read the story in the above link to understand what a “Funes” jig is. Anyway, so this project is actually two years in the making and is finally complete! Yesterday Pake and I traveled to Santone’s secret lab and finalized the recipe for Pake’s Perch. This should be a knock out color here in Texas but also in other regions where big Bass feed on Bream. We are fully aware that a “Perch” is a completely different fish but, growing up in Texas, we always called them “Perch”.
Here is Pake making the first production batch of “Pake’s Perch”.

For reference.

The results!

And the results!

I saw the Perch on the white lid and thought that was your new swim bait. Thought the lid was the mold or something until I saw the jigs....Lol

I was ready to give my CC number right now for those.

The jigs look great.

Your doing things right Brian, and congratulations to Pake. Not many kids experience stuff like this, I would have loved to make my own baits as a kid
