If anyone happens to come on here tonight and can answer my question I would MOST appreciate it. OK. At the LMF, at Beavers Bend, I know about the Evening Hole, I know about Spillway Creek, I know about Zone 2. But where is the other area I see y'all at in the pictures? Is that if you follow the trail upstream from the Evening Hole? Or downstream into the camping areas, or what? If I don't see an answer here before I leave about 430 AM tomorrow I will try going upstream from the Evening Hole as that's my best guess. I'm not trying to find out anyone's honey hole or anything just where the next best general area to explore is besides the ones I know. I know there are. I can tell by the pics I see y'all post. They have me drooling. Catch and release, guys, catch and release. Thanks! jonbo strockenz@yahoo.com (If someone prefers to email me).

"Catch and release, guys..." - That looks wrong. Let me clarify. I will be catching and releasing, only 'cause I can't figure out how to cook stocked trout without it being mushy. I just mean I won't fish anyone's favorite hole out. I don't give one hoot what anyone else does so long as they aren't poaching. Even poachers, I don't tell on them. I just feel sad. Maybe they need to poach. Cheers, as the Aussies say.

Stick to the upper 45% of the evening hole. Then the pool lost creek dumps into. Everything upstream from there is boring till u get for the pool below cold hole. Then the white pipe upstream from the road and anywhere u see a truck can get to upstream from there. Last pools downstream from spillway (in spillway creek) Cardiac hill and 500 yards downstream from there. Till u get to a pool that drops into the rapids is where I stop. Fly shop bridge. And, below bridge upstream from the power house. And, the pool below the evening hole across the street.
When October and November hits, the trout will start to make beds and move upstream more as the water cools. Then the whole river will hold fish if the tourists are not around yanking them out.
Pack the trout in crushed ice and do not let them soak in ice water. That's what makes them mushy. Or if you freeze them they turn to mush. Sonic crushed ice is best.
If ur having a tough time on the fly rod, free line a minnow, or flip a rock and put a crawfish on a hook.

Thanks a lot, TarponFly, for taking the time. I will try those spots. The only one I haven't figured out where it is is Cardiac Hill, but I'm busy online looking. I think it must be up Spillway Creek. I appreciate the tips.

Cardiac hill is the second pull off after crossing the dam (spillway) from the spillway parking area. It is a small pull off area next to the road with a metal pipe gate. Walk down the hill to spillway creek. Hope this makes sense. Thanks a lot, TarponFly, for taking the time. I will try those spots.
