Grandebass Rattlesnake float use a lighter wire hook Hags Tornadoes float really good on lighter wire hooks Probably the best for floating IMO that I like is Xcite and I do use all these

the reason plastics float is lack of salt...
ZOOM impregnates 90% of their plastics with salt.. unless it says floating just assume it don't.

Nichols lures. By far the best floating worm on the market. I use them on Amistad all the time

I've had the same experience with those Zoom worms. Bought some, thought they were suppose to float, then.... disappointment. Those Grande Bass baby rattle snakes have a very very slow fall. With the grande bass and the trick worms I find myself so frustrated because hook sets are definitely not free. It will cost you a worm and some fishing time to rerig.
At first it was about the fish, now it's about so much more...
