For you guys that use GoPros...can you plug one into the boat's cigarette lighter and record while doing so?
I would like to buy one but don't want to deal with changing out batteries all day.

you can plug it in but if you want to record while your camera is powered that only works with the GoPro 3. The 2 and 1 series don't allow you record while being powered

Just make sure you have a cig lighter plug with a USB adaptor like the Iphone charger

i have a gopro 1 and i can charge and record, but they battery last for about 4 hours so its not usually needed much
