Way over rated. I banked fished at Fork last night and this morning killing some time before I took my boat in for service. Spooled 2 new fairy wands, one with new 8 lbs Nanofil and the other with 8 lbs Vicious Co-Polymer. Without exception the Nanofil would NOT hold a knot. I tied a palomar, double palomar, improved clinch, and even tied a palomar with an improved clinch on top. Lost a nice little chunk at the dock with the double tied knot and threw a Little George off the line on a cast. The Vicious on the other hand worked great for cheap line. For the price difference I could by 4 spools of Vicious vs. the cost of the Nanofil.

I tired it drop shot and whacky setups on spinning and didn't like it. my modified Albright for fluro leader wasn't working and I was also having as many problems with loops and knots as straight fluro. sticking to my power pro braid to fluro leader setup.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who has had trouble keeping knots tied with that stuff...cost me a bunch of fish earlier this year. I love how it casts, but it just isn't worth using since I can't trust the knots...

We rig all our dropshot rods with it, then put a fluro leader attached with a double uni knot. The line diameter is small. You get the sensitivity of braid. Casts a mile. Have absolutely no problems with it!

I use 10lb Nano with 10 invsx tied together with a crazy alberto works fine.If your line watcher it alot easier to see than 10lb braid.

I use a double palomar with 10 pound and never had an issue. Not sure about the lighter line

Absolutely no problems with it, I have it on all of my spinning set ups. I use it for drop shots, split shot, and I have even used it on top water. The stuff has been bullet proof for me, IDK maybe I am tying my knots wrong but the only fish I have lost is where my floro leader has failed.
