Went to the lake trimmed up to take the transom saver off backed in and nothing. I have checked all the fuses I can find. All the lights work bilge works and the live well works but no trim and it will not crank. What could be the cause for this? Thanks in advance.

First thing you need to do is take all the terminals off the battery post and clean everything there, post and all with a wire brush until it all shines like new money put it all back together and try it again. Let me know if that doesn't work.......and be sure to clean spades on both sides......If this fixes it coat both post and terminals with grease. This will stop oxidation......

this ^^^^^^^^^^^^

happened to me on the water, called for a tow. luckily one of our club guys found me and got me back to the ramp. had to call my mech on sat to find out I was missin the main fuse. it is a very short 20 amp glass fuse on older ones, blade fuse on newer and up towards top back port side.

If you have a Mercury outboard around the 50hp range pull the motor cowling and look on the right side towards the back and there is a fuse in a water tight housing and that is the culprit of your problems. This happens to me from time to time. I keep and extra 20 amp fuse in the boat.
