But, I really love watching others in the boat catching them too! Pake and I generally fish by ourselves but lately we have been able to bring some others fishing with us and here are a few pictures. I see questions and comments from time to time about the drop shot and I really didn't care to much for the technique at first but after fishing it for a few years it can assure you it definitely catches fish. On top of just working, it's a great way to get others involved as it is real simple to use. Pake's little brother, Porter has been joining us a little more and as his attention span increases he will be spending more and more time with us. Porter's personal best! Pake tried to coach him on how to hold the fish in order to get the best picture but he did all he could just to hold it!  Another good one for Porter!  Another one for Porter! Pake is just helping him hold it!  And another for Porter!  Pake had been bugging his Nana to go with us sometime and he finally succeeded!  Another one where Pake is helping Porter hold his fish.  Trying his best to hold the fish for the picture!  Nana strikes again!  There is nothing better than fishing with family and while Khristian may not be a blood relative he is definitely part of the family!

Thanks for the kind comments. I used to love fishing alone, but I just can't imagine going by myself any longer. The next few years are really looking like they will be fun though! Pake just turned 9 and it's hard to accept that in nine short years he will be 18. Time really seems to go by faster, the older you get!
