Awesome catch. We are going with Micheal Littlejohn this weekend. What did you guys catch the sandies and hybrids on? I just finish building a rod that I want to break in this weekend and just wanted to know if I should pre rig it for live shad or some lures.

Mainly live shad - 15lb green big game mono - carolina rig with egg sinker and barrel swivel with a leader tied to a 3/0 kahle hook. We did catch some of the sandies on slabs casting at surfacing fish, but you'll catch the big ones on live shad.

- then we hit the whites, hybrids, and striper. The hybrid/striper bite was a bit slow, but we still managed to boat around 15 with several coming off during the fight. We also managed to land 20+ white bass. All in all, I ended the day with some very happy clients who took home a cooler full of fish!! Thanks Michael for another awesome trip....
