 Any good Cat spots Near Aledo?

I'm new to Texas and need to get a line wet. My 2 girls (6-11) are dying to do some Catfishing with me like back home. Anyone know of any good spots near Aledo? Any help is appreciated
Sometimes I wonder if that kid in the Dreamworks logo has caught a fish yet.

mineral wells state park is a good catfish lake, that is close to you. It is a very good kid friendly park and lake. several areas to fish from the banks. It has couple of piers the you can fish from.

Lake Weatherford is a phenominal cat lake, and very underrated for it as well. Pm me and i can put you on some really good spots.

Took em out and caught about 4 fish in 3hrs. They wanna try it again (which is good). I don't think my Colorado tactics work to well out here in Texas. All my catfishing Exp is from the Colorado River, so figuring out a lake was a little challenging but it was a good day with my kiddo's.
Sometimes I wonder if that kid in the Dreamworks logo has caught a fish yet.
