 Prayers needed for local football players killed in wreck

I got news this morning from a fellow coach about the death of three players we coached and one thats in ICU in New Mexico. Polo Manukainiu - A&M, Gaius Vaenuku - Utah, Lolo Uhatafe - EJH, all passed this morning in a car accident on there way home from Utah and Salesi (leka) Uhatafe is in ICU in New Mexico. I coached Polo, Salesi, from 3rd grade - 9Th grade and Lolo from 3rd grade until 6th grade they are all brothers. These young men were like my sons. Polo was fighting for playing time at A&M and was loving school and Salesi was going to be a freshman at Utah this fall. Lolo was the baby and just wanted to be like his big brothers. Please keep all these young men and their families in your prayers as this is a shock to us all.

I just got news that the father was with them also. Salesi as well as the father were injured in the wreck but are ok and will be released from the hospital and home tomorrow. Great news.

I was very saddened to hear the news this morning as this is truly heart breaking.
I am a huge high school football fan, and I remember watching Polo and others play in high school multiple times including a playoff thriller against mighty Allen at JerryWorld. Euless Trinity is annually one of my favorite teams to watch (I even flew up to Seattle last year to watch them play nationally ranked Bellevue).
Prayers go out to the families and relatives of these boys as well as to Coach Lineweaver and his staff and current players at Euless Trinity High. This is a sad day for Trojan Nation.

Very sad. Prayers sent. Watched Polo hanging out on the field after the Mizzou game last year. Didn't know who he was but, asked someone because of the way he was smiling and having fun with the kids. He stood out and will be missed.
