Fishing license at 2am???? Maybe the super wall mart in Denison, but I would call first. You can get them on the water at a marina. The one tackle shop on the lake at lighthouse marina should have them and will probably be up the earliest.

You need the Texoma license for this lake, its $12.00 they sell them online or all around the lake.

I am heading up there tomorrow night and fishing Wednesday morning. Only been up there twice and this time I am putting in at Juniper Cove (I think!). Is there anything good on that side? I have always fished by the cliff with the cross and don't know the west side AT ALL! Should I just boat it over to the places I know by pottsboro? Fished with JD last summer but have not made it this year. Going to Juniper Cove so I can leave from there to get my daughter at church camp in Madill, OK Wednesday night. Thanks in advance for any help!

If the fish are still where they were last week we have been launching out of Lake Texoma State Park off of 70. Saves a lot of gas driving the boat from Highport. Plus, cuts down on the rough water to cross.

No reciprocal with OK. Story I hear is since they own 70% and most anglers are from TX they wanted money. You can fish the Texas side but you have to be on the Tx side of the river. Ok owns the river so you cannot even be in the channel.

you can fish Texoma with a Texas license if you are on the Texas side and vice versa for the Oklahoma side. problem with that is 70% of the lake is in Oklahoma and there is no line painted on the water to show where the border is, although the game warden will be happy to tell you if you are fishing legally or illegally.

Lake Texoma License
With this license, which is valid until December 31st following the date of issuance, a person may fish in both the Texas and Oklahoma waters of Lake Texoma without any additional Texas or Oklahoma fishing licenses. This is the safest license to have in your possession while fishing the waters of Lake Texoma.

And it is $12.00.

so the texoma license is $12 annually? I did some work in Oklahoma last year, the out of state fishing license was only 30 bucks. Sad when a non resident license in a border state is the same price as a texas one!
