Dog days of summer go deep and fish slow or very fast bigger baits are best for lakes with large forage if u wanna get bit throw a drop shot 3/8oz weight and work it slow use a long leader bout 14inches

Pick up a 3/4 oz football jig and fish it around ledges with cover close by .... You will be blown away with the result....you have to be patient and keep chunking it .

If you like the big worms on stand-up shakey head try the Xcite Maximum worm on there X-lock shakey head that big 10.5 inch worm will actually stand straight up hard to believe a worm that big could but it does.
