I will be going to Falcon with a group for the first time. Will be leaving in two weeks and starting to prepare. Looking for any info or advice on what the fish are doing and what to pack. Thanks

www.tackleandrods.com would be a good starting point. Stop in the shop when you get there and James or Tom will point you in the right direction.
Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Just got back. Fished fri, sat sun morn. It is sloooow. Deep bite non exist ant. Crank baits in rocks in 5 - 10 fow. Follow up with plastics nearer shore. Timber was no good for us either. 2 biggest were a 7.5 and a 6.5, not counting the 6 ft gar that grabbed my 6xd and jumped at the boat. Scared the pee out of us! Maybe caught 10 fish per day, lots of 2-3 lb.
This is a good time to use a guide.....jay Greishaw if available. That will greatly increase your odds. Prepare for 105 F. Even the wind feels hot.
