 Great day on Fork with my son!!!!!

I had an awesome day on the lake with my son today, couldn't of asked for a better way to spend my Sunday. We started off early fishing grass, and as it happened the last time we went, he caught the first of the morning again, yelling fish on, fish on dad. Great things to hear from your 4 yr old. The day was kind of a grind, we picked fish up here and there until lunch, then we went in to take a nap, only to return for a couple hours of outstanding fishing. Started off with me hearing Dad Fish on again only to realize it wasn't little but a giant, it was jumping like crazy and I was freaking out, he was laughing and carrying on, in til I realized his drag was way too tight!!!! Epic fail on my part, the big girl dug and broke his line, only to leave me heart broken for him, until I hear these words," Daddy it's ok, I'll just catch another one", I laughed out loud and we continued to fish. Ten minutes later wham, I hang an absolute giant only to have it throw the lure at the boat. My son once again picked me back up and we kept on. Five casts later wham there she is DD number 5, I was not gonna lose this one, I played her out till she was exhausted, and then bear hugged her against the boat. We screamed we hollered, and high fived, I will never forget this day as long as I live. It was fantastic!!!!!
