Hey y'all. I'm new. Heh. 1st post. I am asking for some help. My boat got washed onto the rocks yesterday at the Lake Livingston dam. I put in at Browders. It was secured on the rocks and swamped. I couldn't bail it out because each wave would just fill it up. My only option was to wait out the bad weather and come back in the morning. Well I got there this morning and it was gone. Stolen overnight. I spoke with the TRA security guard when I left the boat. He said it would be fine overnight. He informed the other guards and this morning the guard working expected to see the boat. He and a friend made a few phone calls to the sheriff, game warden, marinas. Nothing. No one has a report on it. At this point it is stolen. They must have been watching me struggle and bailed it out as soon as the weather shifted during the night.

If any of my fellow fishermen and women out there would like to help catch a thief, please print this picture and write down the following numbers and keep a copy on your boat. Please. If spotted, please call the game warden immediately and report it and then call me.

TX# 8692HM

Thanks for reading.

Find somebody that lives around there with a Humminbird or Lowrance side scan to have a look around just in case it did sink. Maybe offer compensation. I would be glad to do it if it was closer.

I have a good friend going out there today to do just that. There was no debris and it was so high on the rocks you could have pulled the drain plug and drained it in calm water. Sound advice though and I will rule that out today. Thanks.

I don't know which is worse, the boat stolen or in the drink. Good luck either way!

Thanks y'all. My self imposed therapy to get over it is looking at new boats. HA! Man some of those deck boats are pretty nice. Set up to fish and play. That might be worth putting on the shackles and financing.

I need a boat to go look for ma boat. Heh.
