I'm looking for a decent baitcasting rod with a moderate action for less than 100 dollars.
Also looking for a reel to go with it.
Will be used for crank baits.
Any recommendations? Thanks.

Academy has a lot of combos. I just bought the pinnacle obsession for 89 bucks. reel seems good, watch the clamping ring on the pole though, my first one was stripped, had a fish take the reel right out of the seat! Academy took it back no questions and gave me a new one. No problems from the new one, landed a few hybrids with it saturday night so i think it passed the test. the also have abu, quantum, diama, h2o express combos all under 100 bucks.
