[quote=Jacob_Breaux] Got her released after a few pics to be caught by another angler.

Very sportsman like. Somebody probably blessed you when they released this last year when she weighed 7.8, and two years ago when she was a 6! Thanks for the post, now go get someones 10+ they released last year.

NOTE: she might have been the one I got there on a Super Spook two years ago, it was about an eight.

Contgrats on a great fish. I sat next to your mom and dad at the banquet. They are very nice people. They were both very proud of you. My son Sam had nothing but good things to say about you. Thanks for sharing the story and photos. You will remember that fish for ever. Take care. Hope to see you next year, Rodney

Thanks everyone!! I was very surprised to catch one that big from where we were fishing. I wasn't expecting to catch a lunker like that for years!

Great story...

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

I would also recognize Jacob, not only his fishing, because he was also voted angler of the year based on scores from the guides he fished with but also his leadership and overall behavior. He is a class act all the way around and a pleasure to have attend the camp!

Good job bud! There are a lot of fish in that pocket.. A lot of fish released from tournaments in there.

Thank you very much Danny. I'm grateful to have gone to Camp Bass this year, and can't wait for next year!
