My family and I will be taking a trip to Blanco state park next week and my girls and I are going to do some fishing (sunfish, largemouth, channel cats).

- Anyone have experience fishing out there?
- What gear should I have for the various fish?
- Suggested fishing spots?

Light tackle, early mourning shade, crickets, tx rig live night crawlers with a small pinch weight, and tiny jig and bobber or Finn-s shad and bobber. The further down stream there's clear water and shallower water where u can see the fish.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

Fortunately we'll be going mid-week, any certain spots I should focus on? By swimming area?
