I have had luck with fellow OT'ers helping me with window replacements, (Abaca Glass),
I've gotten help with purchasing fishing equip (shut up and fish)
Are there any water sprinkler pros here?

I've got 8 zones, only four run, which seems to be one less than I need. I have two sprinkler heads in the front yard that apparently don't do anything.

Help!

Once you find someone, let me know. My system won't come on at all.

Yeah, the guy we use is too far away for you. Sorry. Check with the Bruce guy they've mentioned in the other thread.

Sounds to me like you have a few bad valves. Did you have the system installed or did you buy the property with it already there? You need to know how the system was laid out. Replacing the valves is really easy if you know where they are located in the ground. It could be bad wiring to the valves also. First thing you need to do is find the valves. PM me if you want.

I love to do a lot of things and aint good at any.

When my current system was installed I took the layout map away from the company so I know exactly (reasonably)where the valves, lines, and wires are located. The valve boxes are now covered over but I can still find them with a pokey rod (technical term there fellas).

State law requires that the city approve a plan. and that the homeowner and installer gets a copy. With the irrigator state seal attached.

Most times when you don't get one either the permits were never pulled or the builder had the system installed. Which is usually a standard system that covers but not designed to do exact locations. Flower bed and grasses and foundation on there own separate zone .
