I had the pleasure to go out with Amistad guide Olin Jensen yesterday and boy did we crush them! We had 20 fish boated in the first half hour. We ended up with 37 fish in 4 hours. I wanted to fish a lot of different techniques and he managed to get me on fish with every technique i tried. We started the day with top water, then went to the 277 area and flipped trees and even fished texas rigs in the ditches. We caught them on cranks also. I also caught my first fish on an alabama rig, which happened to be a double with a pig on it! Olin is on good fish and numbers right now. If your heading down here to Amistad look him up and you wont be disappointed. Friend that lives there told me the lake is gaining 8" a day was told it will continue for a couple of weeks.
