It was a blast. It's always fun to fish a little off the beaten path, we didn't see one person while Brookfie fishing.

The browns are beautiful, and the Conejos requires a measure of skill. My favorite Colorado location so far.

It's funny, everyone says it takes matching the hatch specifically, but I had my best luck on a size 10 bright orange or yellow stimulator. They were definitely trickier then the small stream fish though, presentation had to be almost flawless.
