Is anyone else going to be there?

I'm going Saturday early till Sunday night.

Professor B, myself and 2 others will be there tomorrow-Sun.

My 12 year old son and I will be there tomorrow.

I'm sure its different after they stocked Thursday, but I was there on Tuesday. Bite slowed after 10am in Zone 1. Many were sipping and no one could figure it out. We picked one up on a #20 Trico, but it took too much time. Talked to TarponFly about the sippers and he figured it was gnats and there is not a fly small enough. Zone 3 was very slick as usual. Caught a few large BG close to windows while avoiding tubers. No trout.

I am confused about the "zones". Could someone clarify zones 1,2, and 3 and how they relate to the blue zone and the red zone?.I have fished just below the state park dam. Is this zone 3? Is there a map showing zones 1,2 and 3? My maps show only blue and red zones. I have a map showing zone 1 beginning at the dam and spillway creek, but there's no zone 2 or 3 marked on the map and no clarification of what the zones imply-p-

I used to have that map! No one has EVER shown me a NEW picture of Presby Falls or those arm long browns (Z2 & Z3) --- EVER. So I think it's safe to say Zone 3 is mostly inert. Zone 2 is so close to Zone 1, so I just fish(ed) where they stock in Zone 1. Typically, I just stood below the tank trucks and caught them on their way down as they threw them off the bridge just like a local. (Now that's a fish tale!)

Below park dam to the re reg dam down stream is zone 2. Above park dam to evening hole zone one. Below re reg dam at the rock garden where they launch canoes is zone 3

And Spillway Creek is all a no-touchbacks zone.

thanks; where do/can you read the various restricions for the zones 1,2 and 3? I know the restrictions for the red and blue zones but have seen no special information on 1,2 and 3 zones-p-

Gene, The blue zones & red zones are how Beavers Bend are broken up now. The OLD zone 1 was anything above the Old Park Dam. OLD zone 2 was between Old Park Dam and Rereg Dam. Below the Reregulation Dam was Zone 3.

As you know, Zone 2 is now considered a RED zone, where you have to use only barbless hooks and artificial lures. Zone 1 is broken up into both BLUE and RED zones. The old Zone 3 is a BLUE zone where anything goes...
