Going up to Limestone for the first time this week to fish in my kayak. Anybody got any recommendations as to where to fish there?

Haven't been there in years I was wondering if you can still get up the river I remember it being silted in pretty good back then I tried to 3 or so years ago, the lake was only 1-2 feet down and it wasn't happening in a bass boat too silted in, a small flat bottom maybe, I'm guessing you could not get in there now even with a kayak.
