After mine was taken overboard by a bass as I searched for a jig head in my tackle box. I got a cork handle this time!!! Maybe it will float! I literally have felt handicapped the past 2 months without it.

I knocked my cork handle 10' pro angler rod with a Pfluger micro reel in the water a couple weeks ago and even with that tiny reel it barely stayed afloat. It was just visible under the surface as Jigmaster reached out and snagged it for me out the back of the boat. I do believe if it had a bigger reel on it, it would be sitting on the bottom of the lake right now.

I really do need to go get me a few of these. No excuses either, I could drive there in 20 mins from my house and pick em up in person.
