I'm Kylie. Justin and I had been together about 3 1/2 years, although we had been friends since kindergarten. He and Joseph moved to Sulphur Springs and in with me about 3 years ago. As y'all have seen posted, Joseph now lives with his mom and 2 half-brothers in the Waco area. I saw Joseph last Thursday-took him to see a movie. He is learning to play the guitar and having fun playing with his brothers. I will try to create another thread to make it easier for those interested to receive updates.
I can't express how much it means to me and the family that so many people care so much about Justin and Joseph. I did not fish with them but I knew about TFF and created an account so I could view and reply to posts like this one.

Great news Kylie...and welcome to the forum.
You are someone we never really acknowledged as also experiencing the tragic and life changing event. The one evening on Fork changed many lives. We are all sorry for your loss also.
Please do keep us posted. You can tell from the many pages of posts on this thread there are many that followed Joseph and his progress.

I herd through a friend that my nephew Joseph is fishing a tournament on the lake that took his Dad's life this weekend. I am very proud of you Joe Joe, your Uncle Mikey wishes I would have known to come support you. Love you. Fish on little man.

He is a fine young man. I met him for the first time last night. We got him a backseat and I got him a custom fishing jersey. He showed up at 5:15 this am ready to go!
If anyone is in area of Lake Fork Marina come by tomorrow and by some raffle tickets... Proceeds go to Joseph and family... Weigh in is at 2:00.
