Went to Ray Roberts with a buddy yesterday looking for crappie again. Tried timber but eventually found them on brush piles over near Jordan Park, some relatively close to the bank. Had to wade through a bunch of smaller ones to get a one person limit. All crappie caught on white/chart typical sized plastics or minnows. The minnow bite ended up being too much of a hassle with the smaller fish and occassional sand bass and catfish.

Congrats on the limit. Soon as I can finish this house remodel I will be back on them again. Thanks for the report

good deal...are you talking about the two BPs that are just around the point to the south of Jordan? or the other 3 that are south of sand branch?

I just have two marked but you can see the park from where they are located. Did not know there were that many. Will have to do some more graphing in the area.

run the contours between 12-24 feet and you can find them...I fish them often...sounds like the ones south of sand branch

Jig with white with chartreuse green tail has been working lately for me. Need to get back to Ray Bob before summer is over. Thanks for the info!
