I am looking to purchase 2 more bass fishing reels but I can't decide between the E Series Curado or the Gen 3 Revo SX. Any opinions/suggestions?

I kept 2 of the curado 50e as my baitcasters. I think they are the best reels for the money spent. This is after owning some chronarchs and calais.

I love my Gen 3 Revo SX. Without hesitation, I would buy another one.

Yea I own a gen 3 revo sx and I love it. But I need to add a few more baitcast combos to my collection so I wanted to get yalls opimion on the curado E series. I've heard many horror stories about the Curado G's

They both have good and bad points.Either one will get the job done. You should be able to pickup an E series a little cheaper in price so Id go with it.

Get a STX then. I plan on upgrading (or rather add to my arsenal) in the future.

They will be similar for the first couple months, then the Revo will get noisy and rough while the Curado keeps working perfect. Go Shimano.

I had 1 Chronarch E7, and 4 Curado E7's and sold them. I liked the new Revo Gen 2&3's better. I fished with the Chronarch and S Gen 3 side by side. I have more Revos and no Shimanos

I had revos and just did not care for them, sold them. Now I have been building my stock of E series Citicas, Curados, and Chronarchs. Couldn't be happier with them, plus they are easy to work on and parts are readily available.
Also got a couple Lews reels to see what all the fuss was about, tournament MG 5.4:1 and BB1 5.1:1 for cranking. Not too bad but not Shimano E series either.

Not only do they fish great but they're the easiest to have serviced and repaired.

One of the guys that already expressed his love for Revos is a good friend of mine. He recently mentioned the reel isn't as smooth as when he first got it about 10 months ago. Shimano Curados are big in my opinion but I do have small hands. If you hold a Shimano and it feels comfortable in your hands, get the shimano.
At first it was about the fish, now it's about so much more...
