Depends on what you want to use it for and what your price range is. Gotta be more specific because there are alot of good rods for the money out there depending on what you want.

Duckett Ghost Series if you can wait until November. These rods will rewrite the level of quality at that price point. PM me your phone# and I'll txt the specs.

Hang on. I would have sworn you said best rod for $100. The BEST rods I own (for the money) are Power Tackle rods. Just got three more last week. One 7' 6" 104.5 MH and two 7' 6" 105 heavies. First hookset with the 105H was comical. 2-2.5lbr went airborne 15 ft from the boat. The fish cleared my buddy's head by 2 feet and landed about 8 ft on the opposite side of the boat. Coulda put an eye out with that fish!

Dobyn's Champion. Really can't tell a whole lot of difference between it and the extreme series. I must admit though that if any particular Rod comes in both the Champion as well as the Extreme series I buy the Extreme.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the KLX rods yet. Trey has priced these rods right. I've been on his Field Staff for 3 years now and I think I'm most impressed with the KLX. Especially for the $$.

I am a sworn Dobyns and Falcon homer through and through but I'll say it time and again, the best lightest most sensitive 100 dollar rod out there to me is the BPS Carbonlite. That thing is epic for the price tag.

Im partial to the Duckett White Ice series. that being said never never never for any reason buy a st. croix rage rod, i got suckered into buying 5 of them worst purchase of my life, a total joke and complete waste of money!
A guy told me, "I run around in an old tin boat for years, I know exactly how you people are!"
