So I'm trying to do some modifications similar to what a lot of you guys do on your kayaks.

Here is a video so give you guys an idea of what I'm looking to do.

for myself but I've never taken shop or done anything like this before. I'd appreciate any tips or comments you guys leave on the guidelines.
